Question: How can I switch from a-squared Anti-Malware to a-squared Free?

a-squared Version 2.0:
It is no longer possible to downgrade from the Anti-Malware version to the Free version. Please uninstall the Anti-Malware and download the Free version. a-squared Version 1.6.5: 1. Shutdown the background guard and all other program parts of a-squared. 2. Open the installation folder of a-squared (by default C:\Program Files\a2) and delete the following files: a2guard.exe a2handler.dll a2sys.exe a2cfg.exe 3. Start a-squared and run an online update. If you start the a-squared Startcenter then, you will see that the version mode switched to Free and the license end has changed. |
