Question: a-squared detected a file as malware which isn't really malware. Why?

Answer:

If you are 100% sure that the file which was alerted by the a-squared scanner is not really malware, it may be a false alarm. In this case please contact us so we can immediately correct the incorrect signature.

If the a-squared Anti-Malware background guard alerted a well known program as software with malware behavior, you can permanently allow the program by clicking the "Always allow program" button. Sometimes, good natured programs show similar behavior to malware. The a-squared background guard alerts in this cases.

This is not an error of the software, it shows that the protection mechanims work correctly by detecting malware like behavior.
